A promotional piece for a hypothetical Black Widow, for one of Marvel's best known female protagonists, should there ever be a superhero movie centered around a female in the future. As a spy trained under the Soviets, Natasha Romanova took on the guise of a ballerina to keep her identity secret as she trained to become a mercenary and weapon of war. Taking Black Widow's origin story, the visual aesthetic of the famous Stenberg Brothers' Soviet propaganda poster style was taken as inspiration to create this piece and the language of Black Widow's dark past.
